Meet the lovely ladies of Platinum Party Planning

Gena Martin

Danielle Boginsky

Associate, Assistant to Gena

Starting party planning at an early age, Gena maintains, "Planning events is in my blood." Planning for her dolls as a little girl and later her friends' birthday parties, it wasn't long before she began planning dinner parties, New Year's parties and Halloween parties.

While the Assistant Director of Communications at Craven Community College, Gena worked to plan several events including fund-raisers and graduation. She now enjoys helping local organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce and Animal Lovers Assistance League, plan their fund-raisers.

Gena's true passion is planning weddings and gives each wedding as much attention as she would her own! She believes that there are no second chances here and no room for error. Priding herself on maintaining a calm demeanor, she never forgets that the most important thing is that you get married. Gena states, "Everything else is just stuff……FUN STUFF…. but just stuff."

Gena graduated from East Carolina University in 2001 with Bachelors’ Degree in Communications, Business and Sociology and is currently studying for her Master's Degree in Business Administration.

Gena has been awarded Small Business of the Year by the Currituck Chamber of Commerce in 2007, 2009 and 2012, Ambassador of the Year 2007, 2008, 2009 and serves on the Board of Directors for the Currituck Chamber of Commerce. She is active in the community with the Currituck Wild Goose Rotary where she is the Chartering President and serves on the board. She has also received the Congressional Order of Merit by the National Republican Congressional Committee and 2008 Presidential Commission. She was an Honorary Chairman for the 2006 Business Advisory Council and was honored as Businesswoman of the Year in 2006.

Esra first met Gena in 2009 as a bridesmaid in a wedding she had planned. Gena's positive demeanor, attention to detail, and dedication to making Esra's friend’s dream wedding become a reality, helped her stand out as an exceptional wedding planner. The two instantly clicked that week, and in no time at all, they began discussing Esra's role as a possible assistant in future weddings. In 2011 Esra began working as an apprentice and quickly came to love P3.

Esra asserts,"Platinum Party Planning brings so much class, dependability, attention to detail, and creative genius to wedding planning. I am proud to be a part of such a phenomenal team and look forward to P3 having the same outstanding reputation in Richmond as we have on the Outer Banks. Working with P3 has allowed me to discover my favorite parts of wedding planning – the faces of both the bride and groom as they light up in awe of their perfect wedding and the love between a bride and a groom on their wedding day."

Danielle Boginsky met Gena in 2007 as young professionals. Gena quickly identified Danielle as a potential addition to P3.  It was not long after that Gena invited her to a wedding to see how she felt about party planning in general. Danielle realized party planning, weddings in particular, allowed her OCD the ability to accomplish perfection. Her mission is to polish the details of the event and ensure that the day is carried out with sophistication, class and style.

Danielle is a Currituck County native, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Western Carolina University and volunteers within the community. Being very active in her church, she also is passionate about missions and outreach. She volunteers for Relay for Life and is an avid traveler.

Her genuine heart and wit make her an asset to P3 but never mistake Danielle for being quiet, she is strategic and meticulous in her work. When asked what her favorite part of planning is she responded “implementing the bride's desires and making dreams come true! I know I have done my job when I hear from the bride and groom, "everything was perfect."

Christina Marie Greschak is a certified wedding planner in the Outer Banks, Hampton Roads and Richmond markets.  An Outer Banks native, Christina’s knowledge of the area will be an asset.  She has an extensive background and expertise in the hospitality industry.

She is active in the community with Relay for Life and assisting with events at Central Elementary School. Christina’s family is also very active in the community, and she has a brother in Law Enforcement.  Christina currently works as a teacher assistant working with exceptional children.  Although she enjoys teaching, event planning and coordination are where she naturally excels.  Teaching has advanced her expertise of active listening, patience, organized-skills, time-management, and goal-obtaining.

Christina approached Gena one day spilling her LOVE for planning events and weddings.  Gena replied back “you are reaching out to me at the perfect time."  She was ecstatic with that response!  Gena then sent her a “challenge” where she was to plan a wedding.  Christina then had to plan a wedding in a week with a budget and specific requirements. After the week was up and the “challenge” sent Gena replied back “great job”!!  Christina has truly enjoyed working and learning from Gena. She looks forward to the future with P3!

Her warm personality and willingness to tackle any challenge help her contribute to Platinum Party Planning’s’ success.  She looks forward to the opportunity of making your entire planning experience stress free and exactly as you've imagined it.  Christina understands the importance of life’s precious moments.
